Paris 2024 inks Carrefour deal

Organisers of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games have signed a new partnership with French supermarket chain Carrefour Group. 

Joining the Games as a Premium Partner, Carrefour will also serve as the Official Food Provider for the athlete villages during the games. Carrefour will be promoting French produce and sustainable eating through the partnership. Carrefour will also work on two different projects, a branding and business respectively aimed at not only promoting health through diet but also raising awareness about disability, nutrition and health at work through sport amongst others.

Carrefour will additionally launch an exclusive collection of licensed Paris 2024 products, which will include stationery, clothing and back-to-school items. 

Alexandre Bompard, Chairman CEO of the Carrefour Group, commented:

By joining as a Premium Partner, Carrefour becomes the fifth first-tier sponsor along with Orange, EDF, BPCE and Sanofi.
