PGMOL announces partnership with Puma

Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL), the official refereeing body for professional football in England, has announced a multi-year partnership with global sportswear brand Puma.

As per the agreement, Puma comes on board as the Official Kit Partner of PGMOL. Starting with the 2025/26 season, the German company will provide high-performance apparel — both match and training — to officials covering both men’s and women’s football across the Premier League, the English Football League, the National League, and the Women’s Super League.

Howard Webb, Chief Refereeing Officer, PGMOL, said:

We’re delighted to be partnering with PUMA, a world-leading company who shares our passion for the game. This multi-year agreement with PUMA will provide our officials with high-performance sports apparel for many years, recognising the pride and professionalism they display every time they step onto the pitch at a progressive time for refereeing. Officials are an essential part of the game – without them, we have no competition. This new era of refereeing is all about delivering excellence now and inspiring the next generation for the future, and we’re excited to bring that to life with PUMA.

Lucynda Davies, Managing Director, Puma UK & Ireland, added:

We’re incredibly proud to partner with PGMOL and support the officials who play such a vital role in the game. At PUMA, we believe in pushing sport forward, and this partnership allows us to bring our expertise in performance innovation to officials across all levels of the professional game. The new kits are designed to reflect the professionalism, confidence and authority of modern match officials, and we’re excited to see them take to the pitch from the 2025/26 season.
