Multinational payTV service Premier Sports has bagged the rights for all UEFA national team competitions from 2022 to 2024 in the United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales and the Republic of Ireland. The partnership will include the UEFA Nations League and Euro 2024 qualifiers as well.
Premier Sports will be broadcasting almost 60 matches, which will include predominantly those of Northern Ireland, Scotland and the Republic of Ireland. The highlights of select Scotland and Northern Ireland matches will also be shown for free, while the Wales games will be broadcast in an non-exclusive manner. The partnership will also cover all of England’s qualifiers for Euro 2024 and the 2022/23 Nations League games as well.
Richard Sweeney, Premier Sports Chief Executive, commented:
“We are thrilled to be awarded this fantastic package of UEFA national team matches.
“This summer when the domestic season ends, our subscribers will enjoy a feast of international football with live coverage of the UEFA Nations League. From 2023 we will bring fans to every game of their team’s vital qualification process towards UEFA Euro 2024.”
The UEFA partnership grows Premier Sports’ list of exclusive partnerships, which already has the likes of LaLiga, Copa del Rey, Coppa Italia, DFB-Pokal and Major League Soccer on its broadcast list.
