Royal Challengers Bangalore rope in Qatar Airways as Title Sponsor

Indian cricket franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have roped in aviation firm Qatar Airways as their Title Sponsor on a three-year deal.

The deal is reported to be worth ?75 crore and will see Qatar Airways replace non-bank lender Muthoot FinCorp as the Title Sponsor of the Bengaluru-based franchise. As Title Sponsor, Qatar Airways will have its logo feature on the front of the RCB matchday jersey.

The Qatar Airways deal is the second largest-deal in the history of Indian franchise cricket sponsorships, only behind the Mumbai Indians’ partnership with fintech firm Slice, which is reportedly worth north of ?90 crore.
