Oracle Red Bull Racing have announced some organisational changes within their technical leadership team.

The announcement comes shortly after quadruple world champion Max Verstappen’s long-time race engineer Gianpiero Lambiase announced his departure from the team at the end of 2028.

As part of the changes, Ben Waterhouse, who joined Red Bull back in 2014 and has been serving as their Head of Performance Engineering since 2017, will take up the role of Chief Performance and Design Engineer. He will have “overarching responsibility” across Design and Vehicle Performance and report directly to Technical Director Pierre Waché.

Additionally, Andrea Landi, who has held the roles of Deputy Head of Vehicle Performance at Ferrari and Deputy Technical Director at Racing Bulls, will join the Austrian team as their Head of Performance and report directly to Waterhouse.

Red Bull Racing also released the following statement on the matter:

This evolution strengthens integration between these areas and will accelerate the development of competitive, high-performing solutions. These changes support the Team’s long-term technical ambitions and reflect its continued focus on developing internal talent while attracting leading expertise from across the sport.
