The Indian wicketkeeper-batter has inked a multi-year extension.
Sanspareils Greenlands (SG) has renewed its partnership with Indian wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who will continue on as a brand ambassador for the cricket equipment manufacturer.
Pant had initially signed a three-year multi-crore deal with SG back in December 2016, which saw the Delhi Capitals captain endorse SG equipment across all formats of the game. Since then, Pant has been a regular member of the SG family.
Speaking about the extension of his partnership with SG, Pant commented:
“I have been using Sanspareils Greenlands bats for quite a while now, and many of my memorable innings have come with SG by my side. I’m glad to extend this partnership and hope to add more runs to the board together with SG.”
Mustafa Ghouse, CEO, JSW Sports, the firm that handles Pant’s sponsorship deals, added:
“A part of our vision at JSW Sports is to ensure that our athletes join hands with their most preferred brands, and we are very glad to be able to facilitate Rishabh’s extension with SG.
“Together, Rishabh and SG have created some special moments in Indian cricket, and I look forward to many more.”
Over the years, SG has partnered with some of India’s finest cricketers such as Sunil Gavaskar, Mohammad Azharuddin, Rahul Dravid and Virender Sehwag among others.
Paras Anand, Director Marketing, Sanspareils Greenlands, spoke about having Pant as an ambassador, stating:
“We are very excited to have Rishabh with us for another term. SG has been associated with Rishabh for over 7 years now and we have always believed in the supreme talent he possesses to become a leading cricketer in the world. We wish him much more success in the coming years.”
Pant will next be seen in action during the upcoming India-West Indies ODI series, which gets underway from February 6 in Ahmedabad.
