November 1, 2022

The third edition of the five-month-long Riyadh Season is largely a celebration of Saudi Arabia and its people as well as the city of Riyadh as a whole. The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has launched a number of measures to increase economic and tourist activity, with special focus on non-religious tourism.

In honour of the entire country and around a common theme, more than 100 activities, concerts, and celebrations are held around Riyadh.

International stars appear in the video, including DJ Khaled, who repeats his well-known remark, “They didn’t believe in us,” before concluding, “RIYADH DID!” Other international celebrities of Arab descent also feature in the teaser film for the third Riyadh Season, which had the tagline “Beyond Imagination”.

Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority, unveils the star-studded advertising video for this year’s sports festival, which features Liverpool FC Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah and Real Madrid French striker Karim Benzema.

Additionally featured in the video titled “Riyadh season, beyond the imagination” are DJ Khaled, Nancy Ajram, Nadine Njeim and Majid al-Muhandis.

The 15 zones of the 2019-initiated event, which this year runs from October 2022 to March 2023, are each represented by a distinctive amusing character. The “Boulevard World” area of the event highlights the cultures of many other countries, including those of the United States, France, Greece, India, China, Spain, Japan, Morocco, Mexico, and Italy.
