Ultra runner Rod Farvard has been announced as the latest brand ambassador for Amazfit, the Chinese smart wearables manufacturer.
Farvard will work with Amazfit on product testing, athlete-led storytelling, and grassroots community events. He joins the brand’s roster of endurance ambassadors, which also includes Italian distance runner Yemaneberhan “Yeman” Crippa and American triathlete Morgan Pearson.
Speaking about his team-up with Amazfit, Farvard commented:
“Ultra running is all about managing the variables, pacing, nutrition and recovery, while pushing your body to the limit. With Amazfit, I get reliable tracking capabilities and the necessary tools to optimize race days and recovery. I get real-time feedback that helps me stay in tune with my body no matter how long the race. It’s like having a coach on my wrist that doesn’t miss a beat.”
Scott Shepley, Head of Global Marketing at Amazfit, added:
“Rod brings an unmatched level of authenticity to our performance-driven community. He’s not just running 100-mile races, he’s relying on data captured from Amazfit products to test the limits, and show what’s possible with the right tools and mindset. His insight as an ultra runner will help us continue to innovate for the running and endurance communities.”
