Ronaldo Nazário becomes Betfair brand ambassador

Brazilian footballing legend Ronaldo Nazário has been named the latest brand ambassador for Betfair International. The three-time FIFA World Player of the Year and two-time FIFA World Cup winner will officially join Betfair on June 30, 2022, which is the same date as the 20th anniversary of Brazil’s fifth men’s World Cup win in Japan in 2002.

Ronaldo will join his old Brazilian teammate Rivaldo as a Betfair brand ambassador. The gambling company has also released a video of an interview with the two football legends. 



Betfair International is the official sponsor of the CONMEBOL Libertadores and the Copa Sudamericana, while also having the naming rights for the Campeonato Carioca in the 2022 season. 

Commenting on his new role Betfair, Ronaldo ??Nazário said:

“Joining the Betfair team of ambassadors is an honour, I will wear, once again, the same shirt as Rivaldo, something we did 20 years ago and makes us very proud to this day.

“I have no doubt that this partnership with Betfair will bring many amazing experiences to football fans. In a year of the World Cup, fans can expect a lot of news from Betfair and Ronaldo together, every result is possible.”
