The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have partnered up with Rario, the first authorised digital collectibles platform for cricket.
The RCB and many other cricket players’ fans will benefit from this historic cooperation by gaining access to the unique, blockchain-powered memorabilia that will feature the Bengaluru-based side’s players. These cards will make it easier for fans to obtain special access to the inner circle, player meet-and-greets, autographed artifacts, hospitality access and match tickets. Users will be able to purchase and trade some of the well-known licensed highlights in the form of virtual collecting cards.
NFT platform Rario has a long history of working with some of the most recognisable individuals and groups in the cricket world, including Cricket Australia (CA), Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Aaron Finch, Dinesh Karthik, Quinton de Kock, Venkatesh Iyer and Mohammed Siraj among many others.
Rajesh Menon, Head & Vice President, Royal Challengers Bangalore, said:
“We are delighted to partner with Rario. Cricket fandom is set to evolve and expand. Our partnership will give fans a sense of ownership and a deeper sense of connection with their favourite team, RCB. This represents the next step in the sports engagement landscape, and we are proud to set our step in the right direction as a progressive franchise.”
Ankit Wadhwa, CEO and Founder, Rario, said:
“I am thrilled to announce Rario’s partnership with RCB as their official digital collectibles partner. With this collaboration, we are excited to introduce limited edition fan badges that offer a unique and unparalleled experience to RCB fans. These badges will grant exclusive inner-circle access, such as player meet-and-greets, signed merchandise, hospitality access, match tickets, and more. We are honoured to be a part of RCB’s journey, and we look forward to redefining the fan experience together.”
