Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber have announced a strategic technology partnership with Eleven Dynamics, a precision robotics and automation company.
The deal will be focused on using Eleven Dynamics’ “cutting-edge measurement technology to enhance vehicle component precision and significantly speed up production processes”.
Sauber will use Eleven Dynamics’ EDAS platform (Eleven Dynamics Automation Suite) to automate their inspections and measurement tasks, replacing “traditional manual inspections and complex measurement procedures with rapid, accurate, and real-time analysis.”
Additionally, the Swiss outfit will have their car parts such front wings and underfloors undergo inline and non-destructive evaluation, ensuring “continuous and immediate availability of measurement data to engineering teams.”
Regarding the partnership, Stefano Battiston, Chief Commercial Officer, Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber, said:
“Our partnership with Eleven Dynamics will help Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber make another step in the direction of efficiency, precision and, ultimately, performance. Together, we chase every micrometre: Formula One is a sport of marginal gains and incremental development, and Eleven Dynamics allows us to automatise and speed up crucial production processes, giving us time to focus on what matters most: on-track performance.“
Michael Fischer, COO, Eleven Dynamics AG, commented:
“Innovation in robotics brings speed to the track—and that is precisely our common goal. High-downforce cars, such as those from the Stake F1 Team KICK Sauber, are ideal for high-precision measurement technology. Together, we’re elevating quality control to a new level.“
Santiago Droll, CEO, Eleven Dynamics AG, added:
“This partnership demonstrates how modern industrial technology directly enhances motorsport performance, and how engineering innovation can become a genuine competitive advantage.“
