Serie A signs deal with Philadelphia Italia

The Serie A TIM has signed a partnership agreement with Philadelphia Italia, a brand of the Mondel?z International Group, which will see the confectionery brand become the Official Partner of the Italian topflight of senior men’s professional football for the ongoing 2023/24 season.

Philadelphia Italia will get pitch-side LED visibility during the Supercoppa and Coppa Italia finals, as per the agreement, as well as during Serie A highlights on the Lega Serie A YouTube channel and app. Philadelphia Italia will also serve as the Title Sponsor to the league’s Coach of The Month and Coach of the Year awards.

Luigi De Siervo, CEO of the Lega Nazionale Professionisti Serie A (LNPA), said:

We are delighted to welcome among our partners one of the biggest multinationals in the food sector like Mondelez. As is already the case for the best player and the best goal of the month, we link to a prestigious brand also the award to the best coach, from today “Philadelphia Coach Of The Month”. The award certifies not only the results and the spectacle offered, but also fair-play and behaviour on and off the field. Lega Serie A thus continues on the path of enhancing the value of its assets, connecting them to companies of absolute international standing and brands we share values and targets with, also creating synergies between our partners as will happen between Philadelphia and Fantacalcio, which will lead the best Fantallenatore® to award the Coach Of The Year at the end of the season.

Silvia Bagliani, President and CEO of Mondel?z International Group in Italy, added:

It is with great pleasure that we announce the prestigious partnership between Philadelphia, the iconic brand of Mondel?z International, and Lega Serie A – an alliance founded on the shared values of quality, passion and excellence. This agreement marks a significant milestone in our ambition to be a leader in communications through the integration of valuable partnerships into the marketing plans of our brands. We firmly believe that the synergies we will create together with Lega Serie A will lead to new and engaging experiences for our consumers and strengthen the connection between Philadelphia and all football fans in Italy.
