Sky Sports to broadcast AFCON 2023 in UK

British pay-TV broadcaster Sky Sports has secured the exclusive UK broadcast rights for all games of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

As per the agreement, AFCON matches will be broadcast on Sky Sports Football and Sky Sports Mix as well as streamed live on NOW.

The 34th edition of AFCON gets underway from January 13, 2024, and is being held in Ivory Coast. The 24 teams taking part in the event have been divided into six groups of four teams each, with the top two teams from each group and the four best-ranked third-place teams set to move to the Round of 16. The Grand Final will be held on February 11, 2024, at the Alassane Ouattara Stadium in Abidjan.
