Tottenham Hotspur Football Club (THFC), commonly referred to as Spurs, have announced partnership agreements with bp pulse and Castrol, the former of which comes on board as the Official EV Charging Partner of the club, while Castrol becomes an Official Partner of the north London outfit.
Both partnerships are set to cover the Spurs men’s and women’s first teams.
As per its agreement, bp pulse will work with Spurs to extend EV charging stations across the club and help them minimise the “environmental impacts of its activities across all its operations, including an aim to reduce the number of supporters travelling by private car on matchdays.”
Castrol, meanwhile, will collaborate with the club on a host of fan activities to work on shared travel for fans based in the UK for both their men’s and women’s teams.
Ryan Norys, Chief Revenue Officer, Tottenham Hotspur FC, commented:
“We are delighted to be partnering with yet another world-renowned brand in bp. The partnership will offer exciting opportunities for our fans and customers across the globe, while helping supporters travel to our matches sustainably through subsidised, shared travel and increased EV provision.“
Nicola Buck, Senior Vice President of Marketing for bp, said:
“With our history of football partnerships, we’re delighted to unite with Tottenham Hotspur. As a brand that values performance and innovation we see a natural alignment with the Club’s values and aspirations. This partnership not only gives us the opportunity to connect with football fans globally, it gives us a great opportunity to bring our customers and consumers closer to the action on the football pitch too.“
