Suryakumar Yadav revealed as MLB India ambassador
Major League Baseball (MLB) has roped in Indian T20 World Cup winning captain Suryakumar Yadav as their brand ambassador in India along with renewing their partnership with JioStar, who will be broadcasting the MLB in India. The deal will see Yadav and MLB work together on fan engagement activities, original content and marquee events with the main aim of the agreement being to bring baseball to the Indian market. Yadav will also take part in the All Star Week in Philadelphia between July 10-14.
Along with bringing Yadav on board, MLB has also renewed their media rights partnership with JioStar who are set to continue to provide live coverage of MLB games and other MLB programmes including the MLB All-Star Game, select regular-season matches, the postseason and the World Series. in India on their linear and digital platforms.
