“The Superlative Collection and Merchant Pubs & Bars have a reputation as a leading force in Glasgow’s hospitality scene. As the city comes alive with the Games, we know they’ll bring energy, creativity and atmosphere to the Games experience beyond the sport for athletes, spectators and visitors to the city. Their sustainability focused drinks menu aligns brilliantly with our sustainability ambitions, and their Glasgow 2026 passport is a fantastic way to ensure the excitement and buzz of the competition is felt right across the city by fans, volunteers, visitors and locals.”

John Molloy, Director of Food at The Superlative Collection and Merchant Pubs & Bars, said,

“Glasgow has always been a city that welcomes people through its hospitality, and with visitors arriving from across the Commonwealth this summer, we wanted to create something that celebrates both the Games and the incredible diversity of flavours found across the nations and territories taking part. From Jamaican jerk chicken to Canadian poutine and Australian meat pies, every dish on the Foodie Trail has been designed to give people a memorable taste of the Commonwealth while showcasing the creativity and warmth of Glasgow’s food scene.”

Ewan Angus, Head Mixologist at The Superlative Collection and Merchant Pubs & Bars, added,

“Our drinks menu is all about innovation and sustainability. We’ve challenged our teams to create a variety of drinks that not only deliver bold flavours and theatre for visitors during the Games, but also support Glasgow 2026’s ambition to deliver a more circular event. Using ingredients that would otherwise go to waste from recycled champagne foam to repurposed pizza sugo and beer wastage, we’re showing that sustainability and world-class hospitality can go hand in hand.”
