UBS Group has revealed that it will continue sponsoring tennis legend Roger Federer until at least 2025. The Zürich-headquartered investment bank and financial services company has also said that further extension of the partnership is possible.
UBS recently took over its Swiss rival Credit Suisse, which had Federer on as a brand ambassador since 2009.
Aside from Federer, UBS is also a partner of the Mercedes Formula One team since 2011 and has also sponsored the Monaco Grand Prix in the past.
Speaking about keeping Federer on board, Sergio Ermotti, Chief Executive Officer, UBS, said:
“We will honour any sponsorship commitments we have combined at least until the end of 2025, we are pleased to have Roger.“
