Day 10 of UEFA Euro 2024 will see four fixtures take place, the first one between Denmark and Serbia at the Allianz Arena, the second between England and Slovenia at RheinEnergieStadion, while later in the day Slovakia will take on Romania at Deutsche Bank Park, with Belgium wrapping their group stage against Ukraine at the same time at the MHPArena.
The Danes come into this match on the back of an impressive 1-1 draw against England. After playing out two draws, Denmark are second with two points, level with third-placed Slovenia. Therefore, both sides will be eyeing a win in their respective games to secure qualification.
Serbia are placed last in this group with one point.
Denmark head into the game against with no injured players, which is a huge boost for their head coach, Kasper Hjulmand.
A major blow for Serbia is surrounding Filip Kostic, who sustained a knee injury in his team’s opener against England. He missed the previous match against Slovenia and will most likely miss the upcoming contest against Denmark.
Denmark

Serbia

Most recent result: Slovenia 1-1 Serbia, Euro 2024
European Qualifying: Finished 2nd in Group G with 14 points
Denmark have been impressive so far in this tournament, and I think this is the game in which they will come out victorious and secure qualification for the next round. Serbia will score, given Denmark have to go for it, but in the end, the Danes have enough firepower up top to see this through.
Denmark 2-1 Serbia
Goalkeeper: Predrag Rajkovic
Defenders: Andreas Christensen, Jannik Vestergaard, Strahinja Pavlovic
Midfielders: Christian Eriksen, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Dušan Tadic, Morten Hjulmand
Forwards: Rasmus Højlund, Aleksandar Mitrovic, Dušan Vlahovic
Captain: Rasmus Højlund
Vice-Captain: Christian Eriksen
England will be up against a feisty Slovenia team in their final group match. Up until this point, Gareth Southgate’s men haven’t been at their best and also played out a 1-1 draw against Denmark in their previous contest, in which they were decidedly second best.
On the other hand, Slovenia will need to win this contest in order to give themselves a chance of finishing second in the group. Currently, they’re on two points, level with second-placed Denmark.
England pretty much have a fully-fit squad to pick from for this match. The only concern is surrounding Luke Shaw, who is yet to start this Euros. Kieran Trippier has been playing at left-back instead.
The only other call that has been heavily debated is Trent Alexander-Arnold playing in the base of midfield for England.
Meanwhile, it has been reported goalkeeper Jan Oblak missed Slovenia’s training session on Saturday. Midfielders Timi Max Elšnik and Adam Gnezda Cerin also remain a concern heading into this tie.
England
Form (all competitions, most recent first): D-W-L-W-D
Most recent result: Denmark 1-1 England, Euro 2024
European Qualifying: Finished 1st in Group C with 20 points
Slovenia
Form (all competitions, most recent first): D-D-D-W-W
Most recent result: Slovenia 1-1 Serbia, Euro 2024
European Qualifying: Finished 2nd in Group H with 22 points
England are yet to get going in this tournament, and before heading into the knockouts, they would certainly want to put together a good performance.
A win in this contest won’t be easy, with Slovenia more than capable of producing an upset, but I’ll still go for a slender England win.
England 2-1 Slovenia
Goalkeeper: Jan Oblak
Defenders: John Stones, Kyle Walker, Jaka Bijol
Midfielders: Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham, Trent Alexander-Arnold
Forwards: Bukayo Saka, Harry Kane, Phil Foden, Benjamin Šeško

Group E is certainly the most open of all in this year’s European Championships. Slovakia are placed third heading into this final match against group leaders Romania, will all four teams in the group sitting on three points.
Slovakia seem not to be facing any major concerns on the fitness front as they named unchanged sides for both their opening group matches of the tournament. They’re likely to do the same for this game as well.
As for Romania, there’s good news as striker Denis Alibec returned to action in their previous loss against Belgium. After receiving minutes off the bench in that match, he could be preferred in the starting line-up this time out.
Slovakia
Form (all competitions, most recent first): L-W-W-W-D
Most recent result: Slovakia 1-2 Ukraine, Euro 2024
European Qualifying: Finished 2nd in Group J, with 22 points.
Romania
Form (all competitions, most recent first): L-W-D-L-D-L
Most recent result: Belgium 2-0 Romania, Euro 2024
European Qualifying: Finished 1st in Group F with 20 points
Both teams have shown that they can be threatening in attacking positions, but I think Romania have been more prone to conceding chances due to their adventurous attacking play, which could be a contributing factor in eventually suffering a defeat.
Slovakia 2-1 Romania
Goalkeeper: Florin Nita
Defenders: Radu Matei Dragusin, Milan Škriniar, Nicusor Bancu
Midfielders: Nicolae Stanciu, Stanislav Lobotka, Juraj Kucka, Razvan Marin
Forwards: Denis Dragus, Ivan Schranz, Róbert Boženík
Captain: Róbert Boženík
Vice-Captain: Nicolae Stanciu
Belgium have been far from their best in the competition so far and even suffered a shock defeat to Slovakia. Much like the other match in this group, both teams will have to come away with a victory in order to ensure that they finish in the top two and guarantee progression into the knockout stages of the tournament.
For Ukraine, they will be hoping to see Vitaliy Mykolenko fit for this final group match after the Everton FC defender missed his team’s opening matches of the competition due to a foot injury.
As for Belgium, Dodi Lukebakio, who started on the right flank, will be missing this match due to suspension, and this could see Arsenal FC forward Leandro Trossard replace him in that position.
Ukraine
Form (all competitions, most recent first): W-L-W-L-D
Most recent result: Slovakia 1-2 Ukraine, Euro 2024
European Qualifying: Finished 1st in Group C with 20 points
Belgium
Form (all competitions, most recent first): W-L-W-W-D
Most recent result: Belgium 2-0 Romania, Euro 2024
European Qualifying: Finished 3rd in Group C with 14 points
Even with a disappointing campaign so far, Belgium are creating chances and have had their fair share of goals chopped off by VAR decisions. With the quality they possess, Belgium should comfortably see this game through.
Ukraine 0-2 Belgium
Goalkeeper: Anatoliy Trubin
Defenders: Timothy Castagne, Wout Faes, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Arthur Theate
Midfielders: Kevin De Bruyne, Amadou Onana, Youri Tielemans
Forwards: Romelu Lukaku, Jeremy Doku, Mykhailo Mudryk
Captain: Romelu Lukaku
Vice-Captain: Kevin De Bruyne
