Indian fashion e-commerce company, Mynta, has roped in one of India’s favorite celebrity couple – Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma as its first ever brand ambassadors. Myntra has already released its first TVC featuring #Virushka.
Virat and Anushka’s association with Myntra isn’t new. They both own their respective fashion labels. Virat’s Wrogn and Anushka’s Nush have been available on Myntra for a long time now. With a fresh partnership with Myntra, the couple can hope to further expand their individual brands.
On the appointment of Virat and Anushka as brand ambassadors, Amar Nagaram, Head, Myntra-Jabong, said, “The association of Bollywood and Sports with fashion needs no introduction and hence having Virat (Kohli) and Anushka (Sharma) as the face of this new campaign will enable us to build strong brand salience and establish the joy and convenience of shopping on Myntra.”
Myntra was founded in 2007 to sell personalized gift items. In May 2014, it was acquired by Flipkart, and at present, it is a subsidiary of world known brand, Walmart.
