West Ham announce Acronis partnership

Acronis unveiled as the Hammers’ Official Cyber Protection Partner.

Premier League side West Ham United have announced global leader in cyber protection, Acronis, as their Official Cyber Protection Partner.
With dual headquarters in Schaffhausen, Switzerland and Singapore, Acronis operates in more than 150 countries and works with more than 500,000 businesses worldwide.
The partnership will see West Ham use Acronis’ Acronis Cyber Protect to ensure prevention, detection, response, recovery and analysis needed to safeguard all aspects of West Ham’s day to day online activities. Acronis Cyber Protect is a groundbreaking Machine Intelligence (MI) amplified cyber security solution that helps prevent cyberattacks and reduces downtime.
Ingram Micro, a global distributor of innovative technology products and services, will be Acronis’ #CyberFit Partner and will tie up with the Acronis #TeamUp program for services providers and cloud distributors.

Nathan Thompson, Chief Commercial Officer at West Ham United, commented:
“We are thrilled to team up with Acronis as the Club’s Official Cyber Protection Partner. Protecting our data, which includes that of our supporters, is of the highest priority for us and Acronis is the perfect partner to help us do so.
“Acronis are the industry benchmark of quality and security and are a company we are looking forward to working very closely with over the coming seasons.”

Ronan McCurtin, Acronis VP of Sales Europe, Israel and Turkey, added:
“At the highest level of competition, data is a critical asset in football. Acronis’ solutions are perfectly suited for a high-pressure, digitally intensive environment.
“We are proud to partner with West Ham United and look forward to our joint projects in the future. We are confident this partnership will benefit West Ham United, Acronis, and all our partners and customers.”

Currently lying seventh in the Premier League table, West Ham will be next in action on April 3, when they face Everton.
