Willow TV secures ICC cricket rights in US and Canada

Times Internet Limited has signed a four-year deal with the International Cricket Council (ICC), which will see Willow become the home of ICC cricket in the USA and Canada till the end of 2027.

Willow TV and Digital will acquire the broadcast and digital rights for all major ICC men’s and women’s events, starting from 2024 up until the end of 2027. The new agreement between Willow and the ICC is a part of their longstanding partnership that started back in 2016.

Willow will also broadcast the games digitally on willow.tv and provide its subscribers with “an unparalleled viewing experience with live HD quality streaming, interactive video scoreboards and statistics”.

The partnership will see Willow broadcast the following major ICC events during the course of the agreement:

Men’s Events

  • ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 (West Indies & USA)
  • ICC Men’s Champions Trophy 2025 (Pakistan)
  • ICC World Test Championship Final 2025 (England)
  • ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 (India & Sri Lanka)
  • ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 (South Africa, Zimbabwe & Namibia)
  • ICC World Test Championship Final 2027 (Host TBC)
  • ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2024 (Sri Lanka)
  • ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026 (Zimbabwe & Namibia)

Women’s Events

  • ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 (Bangladesh)
  • ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 (India)
  • ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 (England)
  • ICC Women’s T20 Champions Trophy 2027 (Sri Lanka)
  • ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 (Malaysia & Thailand)
  • ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2027 (Bangladesh & Nepal)
