Witzeal launches skill-based Ludo game

Witzeal, a new-age gaming technology company, has launched ‘Big Ludo’, a skill-based board game on its multi-gaming platform Big Cash. The game will give players a unique and equal chance to win exciting rewards. Furthermore, the company will also be introducing interesting board games in the months to come.

Ankur Singh, CEO and Founder, Witzeal Technologies, commented:
Ludo as a board game has a perennial nostalgia. The board game has historic roots dating back to depictions from the Mahabharata. Aligning this thought with the new age technology we brought back the experience of playing Ludo but by eliminating the factor of chance. In the new skill-based Ludo, players can strategize, and upskill themselves every time they play on our platform. We are excited to see the spirit of the game being celebrated and give our users a chance to explore and sharpen their skills.

We are extremely happy to introduce the gifting and rewards feature and we have observed that almost 100k users have already availed ‘send and receive’ gifting offers since
the launch. We have now planned to double down on the gifting pattern and increase this number to 5x in the coming months. I believe that the advent of innovative technologies have made playing all genres of games online easier and seamless.

Witzeal has always endeavoured to incorporate innovations and adopt to newer
technologies to stay ahead of the curve, we are happy to have introduced a gifting and rewards benefits for our users. We have designed a special algorithm to encourage users to send gifts and avail rewards. Our aim is to foster more technological innovations to give the users seamless experiences and intriguing challenges on our platform.

‘Big Ludo’ will allow two-to-four players to play the game with live video support. Each player will get pre-defined turns with equal turn count and value, removing the luck element of rolling the dice and waiting for 1 or 6 to start the pawn movement. Player will have to strategise how to earn more and more points by moving forward the pawns, eliminating the opponent’s pawns, or reaching the destination and, at the same time, not losing the points by keeping their pawn safe from the opponent(s).

Witzeal recently also introduced gifting and rewards benefits for its users, wherein any user can gift free playing cash on the Big Cash platform. This gift can be used unrestricted across the games with no further conditions. The friends of users can avail the gift and get cash rewards on the app, which can be further used to play games on the platform.

Furthermore, the company recently announced a marketing budget of ?200 crore for the year 20222023 to further help the brand increase its reach and engage more users. The company also plans to utilise this budget for marketing and branding exercise to garner more visibility and to showcase the work and to attract and retain users on the platform.

Apart from this, Witzeal has recently also partnered with prominent OTT and UPI platforms like Disney+ Hotstar, MX Player, Google, Facebook, Wynk Music and PhonePe with an aim to widen its user base and reach out to a larger target audience. The partnerships entail banner advertisements on the OTT and UPI applications along with OEMs, Google, Facebook and Programmatic.
