Intuit joins LA28 as Founding Partner
Intuit, a global financial technology platform, has been unveiled as a Founding Partner of the 2028 Los Angeles Olympic and Paralympic Games (LA28) in the financial management software category.
The multi-year domestic agreement, also covering Team USA, will see Intuit retain the naming rights for Olympic venues, with Intuit Dome set to host the five-on-five men’s and women’s basketball competitions during the quadrennial event.
Additionally, Intuit will support small businesses in LA through the “Intuit & LA28 Small Business Supplier Program”, providing resources, mentorship, and opportunities to help them serve as official LA28 suppliers. Intuit will also offer free tax preparation to Team USA athletes via TurboTax, as well as expand its national financial education programme for students in the LA community.
The 2028 Olympic Games are scheduled to get underway from July 14, 2028, with the closing ceremony set to be held on July 30, 2028. The 2028 Paralympic Games, meanwhile, are scheduled to be held between August 15 and 27, 2028.
Casey Wasserman, LA28 Chairperson and President, commented:
“As we prepare to welcome the world to Los Angeles for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games, we’re proud to partner with Intuit—a company with deep roots in this city and a long-standing commitment to Angelenos. Intuit’s investment in small business growth reflects the values we share: innovation, accessibility, and community. Together, we’re working to create opportunities that will leave a meaningful legacy for Los Angeles well beyond the Games.”
Thomas Ranese, Chief Marketing Officer at Intuit, added:
“Intuit is incredibly proud to be a Founding Partner of the LA28 Games. Our commitment to powering prosperity aligns perfectly with the spirit of the Movement: celebrating determination, optimism, and the belief in what’s possible. Just as athletes strive for gold, we empower consumers and businesses to outdo their financial goals with confidence. This partnership also allows us to further champion the vibrant business community in Los Angeles and help them thrive.”
