Here is our Preview and Predictions for the game.

FIFA WC26 | R32: NED vs MAR | 06:30 IST, 30 June, 2026

Netherlands have established themselves as some of the most clinical and prolific attackers in this tournament. They have not only created high-quality chances for themselves, but have more often than not managed to find the back of the net with those, making them a fearful prospect this World Cup.

The likes of Brian Brobbey, Cody Gakpo, and Crysencio Summerville have all managed to get themselves on the scoresheet and have been ably supported by their defense who have more often than not managed to hold their own in the tournament.

Ronald Koeman will be relieved to know that two of his key players in Brobbey and Denzel Dumfries have been passed fit for the game after both played through the course of the group stages with slight knocks but made it through without any further damage to themselves.

Once again, they will rely on the speed and directness of their attackers and the physical presence of Brobbey upfront as they look to take the attack to their opponents and assert themselves early on in the competition.

Morocco themselves have been a rather compelling and interesting tournament, in a good way of course. After showing the world that their 2022 semifinal run was not a fluke with a 1-1 draw against Brazil which they should have won. They then followed it with a narrow but comfortable 1-0 win over Scotland before a much-changed side took care of business against Haiti, briefly falling 2-1 down before eventually prevailing 4-2.

Ismail Saibari has been the man of the moment for Morocco, becoming the first-ever African player to score in three matches for his country. The likes of Brahim Diaz, Noussair Mazraoui, Issa Diop, and Hakimi will all be back into the starting lineup as Morocco have no injury or suspension issues to deal with.

Both sides have been pretty formidable in their own right, boasting of some pretty outrageous unbeaten runs. While Netherlands have not lost a single World Cup game in 90 minutes or extra time since the 2010 World Cup Finals (that is a 15-game run), Morocco are on an unbeaten run themselves that stretches to 32 games.

Two great teams, quality names, and some of the best attackers currently and a game that promises us a lot of action. Frankly, it is very difficult to pick a favourite for this one given both sides have been on some really good streaks, so we will go with a draw, and Morocco edging past the Dutch on penalties.

Score Predictions: Netherlands 2-2 Morocco (Morocco through on penalties.)

Venue: Estadio Monterrey, Guadalupe.
