Star Sports gets broadcast rights for LPL 2026
Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced that the upcoming season of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) will be broadcasted live by Star Sports. LPL 2026, which will be the sixth edition of the league, will kick off on July 17, 2026 and go on until August 8, 2026. The five franchises will once again battle it out for the best T20 team in Sri Lanka with Jaffna Kings coming in as the reigning champions, having won their record fourth title back in 2024.
