Vaibhav Sooryavanshi stars in latest Air India campaign

Indian cricketing sensation Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is the face of Air India’s latest campaign ahead of the Indian cricket team’s Asian Games campaign. The campaign is the latest part of Air India’s broader campaign ‘There is an Air About India’ campaign with Sooryavanshi in the centre of the near-two minute long digital film. 

The film showcases the entire country coming together to help individuals achieve their goals. Sooryavanshi even talks about his upbringing and his journey from a small town to making it to the biggest stage in international cricket. The film sheds light about the support provided to Sooryavanshi by his father, coaches, mentors, teammates and supporters on his way to the top level of international cricket. Additionally it also shows individuals from across India and the support they get as they aim to reach their goals and dreams across different disciplines. 

With the Asian Games 2026 currently underway, Air India serves as Team India’s flag carrier, supporting the Indian contingent in Japan. Sooryavanshi is currently a part of the Indian cricket team, who will start their Asian Games 2026 campaign on September 28, 2026 in the quarter-finals.
