German tennis player Alexander Zverev adds Swiss luxury watchmaker Rolex to his growing list of brand associations. The World No. 6 took to his social media account to announce this latest association between the two.

In his Instagram post, the 24-year-old said, “There’s no watch that tells the history of Tennis better than @rolex. Feel honored and proud to join @rolex on this incredible journey!”

Former World No. 3 and currently 59th ranked, Sloane Stephens was quick to jump into the scene. The 28-year-old American, who herself endorses the Swiss watchmaker Rolex, commented on Zverev’s latest announcement, she wrote: “Welcome to the family.”

With this latest recruitment, Zverev joins a long list of tennis players who Rolex sponsors. This list includes some of the biggest names in the world of Tennis, with the likes of Roger Federer, Dominic Thiem, Garbiñe Muguruza, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Juan Martin Del Potro, Angelique Kerber, Sloane Stephens, and Karen Khachanov, all part of Rolex’s growing roster.

This Rolex deal comes on the back of the several high-end brand associations the German has amassed over the years. Currently, the 24-year-old has Head as his racquet sponsor while also being a brand ambassador for another Swiss luxury watch brand Richard Mille. Automile firm Peugeot, German sportswear manufacturer Adidas and Italian luxury fashion house Z Zegna are his other major sponsors.
