German esports organisation MOUZ has announced a partnership agreement with BMW, as a result of which BMW M Motorsport is set to partner with the MOUZ sim racing team.

The partnership aims to take MOUZ to the pinnacle of sim racing.

René Lannte, COO, MOUZ, commented:

With BMW we found the ideal partner to match our ambitions in sim racing. BMW has been involved in virtual motorsports in a variety of ways for years and knows how to connect the real and digital world of racing. This commitment has a significant influence on the rapid development of the genre. Together, BMW and MOUZ would like to present sim racing to a broader audience, create exciting stories about the stars of virtual motorsports and highlight development opportunities around the topic of sim racing.

With almost 22 years of pioneering work, MOUZ has been shaping the world of esports, and so BMW’s progressive attitude and passion for sim racing quickly won us over. Thanks to our similar mindsets, we are confident that we can advance sim racing sustainably. Our partnership will allow us to bring the excitement and enthusiasm of real world motorsports to the digital world. We are M – We are MOUZ.

Timo Brückner from BMW M Motorsport added:

The fact that we were able to further strengthen our already strong line-up of teams with our long-standing partners Redline and BS+COMPETITION by adding the new BMW M Team MOUZ makes us proud and lets us look forward to the new season with great anticipation and confidence. Together, we want to fight for victories and championships in the biggest and most exciting racing series of the virtual motorsport world in 2024.
