AFC Bournemouth (AFCB) have announced a two-year partnership renewal agreement with Bournemouth University (BU).
The deal is aimed at supporting the staff, students, and local community supporters and sees the partnership enter its 13th year, with BU continuing as the Principal Partner and Official Front-of-Shirt Sponsor for the AFC Bournemouth women’s and girls’ teams.
BU will also get branding presence at the Vitality Stadium on matchdays of the AFCB men’s team.
Additionally, journalism students will get the opportunity to work with media on matchdays to gain experience. The club will also provide various opportunities in several roles, while also sponsoring two students as part of the BU studentship programme.
AFCB players Abby Jones and Katie Scadding are also set to continue on with their role as coaches at the BU women’s football setup.

Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director at AFC Bournemouth, commented:
“We are incredibly fortunate to have such a fantastic institution like BU on our doorstep and we’ve really benefited from the partnership over the years. I look forward to strengthening that relationship even further and working closely together again in a deal that will continue to aid the local community.“
Jim Andrews, Chief Operating Officer at Bournemouth University, added:
“I am so proud of all that our partnership has achieved across many years, and the number of young people and students who have benefitted through our coworking. It is so important for us to partner with local organisations to work for the benefit of our community and I am delighted that this agreement will see us continue to do so for the next two years as we continue to cheer on AFC Bournemouth’s teams across all levels in the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons.“
