AFC partners with CommBank for AFC Women’s Asian Cup 2026

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) have announced a new regional partnership with Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CommBank), who will join as the Official Regional Partner of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026. The partnership will see CommBank host various fan activations and select kids for the march-in ceremony ahead of each game for the tournament through an exclusive promotion. The partnership also affirms CommBank’s commitment towards supporting the game in Australia and the wider Asian region.

Datuk Seri Windsor John, General Secretary, AFC, commented,

“CommBank is synonymous with the development of women’s football in Australia and the AFC is delighted to see them expand their footprint as we welcome them as an Official Regional Partner of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026. Their commitment to advancing the sport dovetails with the objectives of the AFC to strengthen the women’s game and together, we are confident that this partnership will leverage the power of women’s football to inspire and engage with more communities across the Continent.”

Patrick Murphy, CEO of the AFG, said,

“The AFC Women’s Asian Cup Australia 2026™ will be the most attended in the history of the tournament, celebrating Australia’s diversity and the unifying power of football. Through partnerships like this, we’re inspiring millions and connecting communities across the region.”

Monique Macleod, Group Executive Marketing and Corporate Affairs at CommBank, added,

“We’re proud to support the AFC Women’s Asian Cup™ as it comes to Australia next year. It’s a celebration of the world’s game and a reflection of our nation’s diversity and spirit. Football is a unifying force and a game for all that brings people together and inspires belief. As the tournament returns to Australia, CommBank is excited to carry that legacy forward and help build a brighter future that reflects the spirit and strength of our communities.”
