The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced a renewal of its partnership with the media network HOY.

HOY will thus remain the Official Media Partner of the Asian football–governing body in Hong Kong, having secured the media rights for the following AFC tournaments: the 2027 Asian Cup, the 2027 U20 Asian Cup, and the 2026/27 editions of Champions League Elite, Champions League Two, and the Women’s Champions League (certain rights). It will provide coverage to viewers in Hong Kong through its free-to-air channels HOY 76, HOY 77, and HOY 78.

Datuk Seri Windsor John, AFC General Secretary, commented:

Renewing our partnership with HOY ensures that our flagship national team and club competitions remain highly accessible to the vibrant football community in Hong Kong, China. This agreement highlights our shared commitment to expanding the game’s footprint, and we are confident that HOY will continue to deliver the highest standards of broadcasting for our passionate fans in the territory.

Patrick Li, Chief Sports Officer of i-CABLE Communications Limited, said:

We are delighted to partner with the AFC once again to bring a series of Asia’s grandest international football tournaments to our viewers. Sports have always been a cornerstone of HOY’s programming that we take immense pride in. Moving forward, HOY will leverage its comprehensive media network across multiple platforms—including television, our official website, and mobile application—to broadcast the matches, ensuring fans will not miss a single moment of the thrilling action.

Patrick Murphy, Chief Executive Officer of Asia Football Group (AFG), added:

HOY has been a trusted partner of the AFC for three seasons, and this renewal reflects the strength of that relationship. In addition to the AFC’s club competitions, we’re especially pleased to see the AFC Asian Cup return to HOY following the 2023 edition, bringing Asia’s most coveted national team competition back to fans in Hong Kong, China on a free-to-air platform.
