AFC renews TECNO partnership

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has announced a renewal of its partnership with TECNO, which will thus remain the Official Global Supporter of AFC Club Competitions for the 2025/26 and 2026/27 seasons.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer will continue supporting the following competitions: the AFC Champions League Elite, the AFC Champions League Two, and the AFC Women’s Champions League.

Working with the continental football-governing body, TECNO will work towards “enhancing fan engagement and delivering memorable experiences”.

Datuk Seri Windsor John, General Secretary, AFC, commented:

The 2024/2025 club season was a landmark edition that has transformed the future trajectory of the Asian club football landscape. We are delighted by the renewed commitment of companies like TECNO, and we look forward to working in close partnership to elevate the standards of our club competitions in the coming years.

Laury Bai, Chief Marketing Officer of TECNO, added:

We are thrilled to extend this exceptional partnership with the AFC. This two-year renewal builds upon the success of our collaboration in the previous season and reflects our shared vision for innovation, excellence, and connecting with fans across every corner of the globe. We look forward to continuing this journey with the AFC over the next two years, bringing more exciting moments to football fans worldwide.

Patrick Murphy, CEO of AFG, said:

TECNO’s continued support reflects the growing global appeal of the AFC’s club competitions. We’re excited to build on this partnership and deliver even more memorable experiences to fans across Asia and beyond.
