A leading global supplier in the logistics industry, Flex Box has announced a partnership extension with Italian Formula One team Scuderia AlphaTauri.

The partnership will see Flex Box continue on as an Official Partner of the team and will don a new advisory role to help the team reach their “Net Carbon Zero by 2030” goal. Flex Box will provide the team with support to implement their logistics plans, converting air freight usage to sea freight shipments as often as possible across the 2023 season.

The partnership extension will also see the Flex Box logo featured on the AlphaTauri race car.

Henrik Nielsen, Flex Box Founder, commented:

I am looking forward to building on our partnership with Scuderia AlphaTauri, a team that shares our ambitions and values, and supporting them with their upcoming logistical challenges.

Marco Perrone, Scuderia AlphaTauri’s Head of Sporting Direction, said:

With 23 races on the calendar, both the physical movements of the team’s freight and the financial implications of this in the cost-cap era mean that we need to have a better understanding of each shipment that we make. Therefore, we have enlisted the expertise of Flex Box in a key advisor capacity. Furthermore, this will allow us to lessen the carbon impact of our logistics and achieve the team’s sustainability goals.

AlphaTauri and Flex Box first partnered in February 2022, with the latter joining as an Official Team Partner.
