Anheuser-Busch InBev

In January 2021, Anheuser-Busch InBev, owner of the light beer brand Michelob Ultra, roped in the NBA star alongside a list of prominent athletes for a Super Bowl marketing campaign titled “Happy”. 

The 60-second spot enlisted the help of sports superstars including Serena Williams, Anthony Davis, Peyton Manning, Brooks Koepka, Jimmy Butler, and Alex Morgan, who showcased the less-heralded-but-equally-important parts of their lives that ultimately played a role in their success. 

Beats Electronics

American consumer audio products manufacturer Beats Electronics roped in the LA Lakers power forward as a sponsored athlete in October 2019.

Following the deal, Davis has featured in several marketing campaigns for the audio products manufacturer. 

ExxonMobil

ExxonMobil, an American multinational oil and gas corporation and the largest direct descendant of John D Rockefeller’s Standard Oil, announced the signing of a partnership agreement with Davis in April 2018. 

Following the deal, Davis starred in a national advertising campaign for Mobil 1 Annual Protection, which provides drivers proven protection for 20,000 miles between oil changes, ensuring less money and time is spent changing motor oil.  

First Entertainment Credit Union

First Entertainment Credit Union, a cooperative financial institution which was also the official credit union of the LA Lakers, roped in Davis as a sponsored athlete in September 2020. 

Nike

American multinational athletic footwear and apparel corporation Nike announced the signing of a multi-year professional endorsement deal with Davis in July 2012.

In October 2017, Davis and Nike again signed a multi-year deal. 

Ruffles

Ruffles, an American brand of crinkle-cut potato chips owned by PepsiCo and produced by Frito-Lay, announced a partnership agreement with Davis in June 2019.

As part of the deal, Davis has also served as a “creative partner” to Ruffles.

Foot Locker

In January 2014, New York-based specialty athletic retailer Foot Locker announced the signing of Davis as a sponsored athlete for its “Kids Foot Locker” advertising commercial as part of its “GO BIG!” marketing campaign. 

Red Bull

Red Bull, a brand of energy drinks sold by Red Bull GmBH, announced the signing of a multi-year partnership deal with Davis in November 2012.

As part of the deal, Davis acted as an official brand ambassador for Red Bull and worked with it on various promotional activities around New Orleans. 

Saks Fifth Avenue

Saks Fifth Avenue announced a partnership on an exclusive, Fall 2016 capsule collection between its private label Saks Fifth Avenue Collection and Davis. The collection, dubbed “Saks Fifth Avenue x Anthony Davis”, marked the first time the label collaborated with an athlete on a fashion collection. 

The “Saks Fifth Avenue x Anthony Davis” collection consisted of 11 unique styles, from a mixed media bomber jacket and neoprene shorts to graphic T-shirts and designer joggers. In support of the launch, Davis also made two Saks Fifth Avenue in-store public appearances in 2016.

H&R Block

H&R Block, an American tax preparation company operating in Canada, the US, and Australia, reached an agreement with Davis for an endorsement deal in December 2015.

As an official partner, Davis starred in a tax-season commercial for the company. 

INVESTMENTS

Hyperice

In October 2020, performance tech company Hyperice completed a Series A funding round for US$48 million, which was led by investment advisory firm Main Street Advisors and private equity firm SC Holdings.

The prominent athlete-investors list included NBA stars Anthony Davis, Chris Paul, Russell Westbrook, DeAndre Jordan, and Doc Rivers. Tennis star Naomi Osaka, who won the 2020 US Open, also joined the group as an investor.
