Argentina men’s national football team partner with Mashreq Bank to strengthen presence in Middle East and Egypt

Mashreq Bank, a UAE-based financial institution, has been named the regional sponsor of the Argentina men’s national football team in the Middle East and Egypt through the end of 2023.

Through this deal with the Argentina Football Association (AFA), Mashreq will represent the Argentine team as the regional partner in the Middle East and Egypt. The bank will begin official collaborative marketing with the Argentina men’s national team as part of the arrangement, and players from the team will appear in the bank’s promotional activities.

Claudio Fabian Tapia, President of the AFA, said:

“A true milestone has been achieved for the international expansion of AFA, opening new opportunities with a prominent bank like Mashreq. This agreement allows our Association to consolidate its global leadership position in the football environment. We welcome Mashreq as the first supporter bank in the Middle East and Egypt territory.

Ahmed Abdelaal, Group Chief Executive Officer of Mashreq, said:
