Arsenal FC unveil Google Gemini as new partner, also extend Google Pixel partnership

Arsenal Football Club have announced a new deal with Google, which will designate its generative AI chatbot Gemini as their Official AI Assistant Partner, while its deal with the consumer electronics brand Pixel will be extended to make it their Official Mobile Phone Partner.

The partnership will see both Gemini and Pixel collaborate with the North London club on fan engagement activities, which will include using AI-powered creative tools and exclusive behind-the-scenes content from matchdays as well as the training ground.

With the help of Google Gemini, Gunners fans will be able to analyse player signings, discuss match performances, and sync the matchdays to their calendars, while Google Pixel will provide them with exclusive behind-the-scenes content.

Omar Shaikh, Global Partnerships & Ventures Director, Arsenal FC, said:

We’re delighted to build on our relationship with Google as we continue creating new ways for supporters to experience Arsenal.

Through Google’s expertise in AI and mobile technology, we have an opportunity to enhance those experiences and inspire new forms of creativity and engagement.

Our partnerships are built on shared ambition and a belief that together we can achieve more, and we’re excited to continue working with Google to create meaningful value for our supporters.

Eileen Mannion, Vice President of Marketing at Google, added:

We are thrilled to start this new chapter to bring supporters closer than ever to their team. By combining Google Gemini’s advanced agentic capabilities with Google Pixel’s industry-leading camera technology, we are putting fans right at the heart of the action – gaining a proactive personal assistant to stay seamlessly connected to the moments that matter most.

Together with Arsenal and their incredible global fanbase, we will continue to push boundaries and redefine how fans experience the game we all love.”
