Amidst the Covid19 times, Cricket Australia tries to be 100% sure of hygiene with Dettol on board as a new sponsor.
A 4 Year deal has been signed between Dettol and Cricket Australia for limited-overs format in men’s international competitions. Under the deal, Dettol and Team Australia will work together for the team and support staff’s hygiene. It is an essential partnership which will support the players by protecting them.
The interim chief executive of Cricket Australia, Nick Hockley said, “Dettol is such a well-known and trusted brand with a long heritage, both here in Australia and around the world, and their support will give confidence about protecting the return of community and elite cricket this summer. Beyond this summer, we look forward to working with Dettol to help embed hygienic behavioral change into schools, clubs and communities through cricket.”
After the Vodafone deal earlier this month, this is the second major sponsorship deal signed by Cricket Australia. Apart from this, Cricket Australia has a wide variety of well-known sponsors, which include Kookaburra, Alinta, Asics, Bet365, Bupa, Commonwealth Bank, HCL, KFC, Qantas, Toyota, Woolworth, XXX Gold, Marsh, Albion Masuri, and MJ Bale.
