The Australian Open (AO) has announced a three-year extension of its partnership with property and casualty insurance firm Chubb. The partnership will see Chubb remain as the Official Insurance Partner of the AO till 2025.

Chubb, which had first partnered with the tournament in 2020, will continue its partnership with exclusive broker and client hospitality, on-court signage, on-ground consumer activations as well as sponsorship of the Australian Open’s digital daily highlights.

Paul McNamee, regional president of Asia-Pacific at Chubb, said:

The Australian Open provides a significant platform to amplify Chubb as the world’s leading property and casualty insurer and reinforce our reputation for premium insurance solutions and claims handling across the Asia-Pacific.

The extension of our partnership with Tennis Australia represents our commitment to elevating the customer experience for our brokers, clients, and business partners while building consumer awareness of our brand and supporting our growth ambitions for this fast-growing region. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Tennis Australia.

Cedric Cornelis, chief commercial officer of Tennis Australia, commented:

We are delighted to extend our partnership with Chubb, a global leader in insurance. Chubb has been a wonderful sponsor of the Australian Open since 2020, and we look forward to continuing our strong relationship.
