Indian tyre manufacturer Balkrishna Industries Ltd (BKT) has announced a three-year partnership extension with the Big Bash League (BBL).

The partnership extension will see BKT continue on as an Official League Partner of Australia’s premier franchise T20 cricket tournament. BKT is also the official presenter of the (BKT) Golden Bat and (BKT) Golden Arm caps.

BKT also serves as a partner to the Weber Women’s Big Bash League.

The latest extension sets the partnership between the BBL and BKT to cross the eight-year mark, making it one of the longest-standing deals in BBL history.

Alistair Dobson, Cricket Australia’s General Manager, Big Bash League, commented:

We’re delighted that BKT have extended their partnership and looking forward to working with a brand like BKT as we continue to grow the Big Bash. The BKT Golden Arm and BKT Golden Bat caps have become a key component of the Big Bash experience and we’re excited for them to continue to play a key role in celebrating the performances of the world-class players we have across both leagues.

We’re incredibly fortunate to have the long-term support of partners such as BKT and thank them for the contribution they make to the Big Bash.

Rajiv Poddar, Joint Managing Director of BKT, added:

Just as cricket thrives on teamwork, our partnership with the BBL has been rooted in a winning synergy from the outset. Our shared passion for this extraordinary sport has driven us to devise engagement activities that bring added value to the cricket experience. It has been an honor to grow alongside the BBL. Australia has remained a key market for us for over a decade, and we are eager to strengthen our collaboration, in harmony with our ‘Growing Together’ philosophy.
