Danish esports tournament organiser BLAST will be hosting the Spring Counter-Strike : Global Offensive Major in France in 2023. The event is scheduled to take place in Paris and will be held between May 8 and 21, 2023.

This will be the first ever CS:GO Major which will be held in France. It will also be the first ever Major organised by BLAST.

Over the years, BLAST has hosted various CS:GO tournaments, including the Spring and Fall seasons and the World Finals at the end of each year across the world, and has been recognised for the quality of its broadcasts.

Most recently, Charlotte Kenny, Managing Director, BLAST, spoke about the possibility of BLAST hosting a Major, stating:

BLAST is always interested in hosting a Major. What’s important is that our community wants to have a Major hosted by BLAST, so that we can make sure that is the best Major that ever will be and that it fits in with our strategy.

Majors are the most important and prestigious events in the CS:GO industry, with two Majors taking place every year. FaZe Clan won their first Major at Antwerp in 2022 and will be looking forward to making it two-in-two in Rio de Janeiro later this year, where the second Major will be held from October 31 to November 13, 2022.
