BNP Paribas extends Indian Wells Open title sponsorship

French financial institution BNP Paribas has renewed its title sponsorship agreement for the Open at Indian Wells, which has been known as the BNP Paribas Open since 2009, thus becoming the longest-running title sponsor in the history of the annually-held tennis tournament.

The renewed partnership, now running through 2029, will see BNP Paribas continue hosting social, educational, and charitable activities, including the BNP Paribas Open Scholarship, which is a US$20,000 grant awarded each year at the Open to four high school students in the Coachella Valley region.

BNP Paribas also sponsors other prestigious tennis tournaments, such as the Grand Slam Roland-Garros, ATP Masters 1000 tournaments Italian Open and Monte-Carlo Masters, as well as a host of other ATP Tour and WTA Tour events.
