Chelsea FC announce new agreement with IFS

Chelsea Football Club have announced a partnership with industrial AI company IFS.

The partnership will see the West London club use IFS’s AI tech in their operations across finance and procurement, with the agreement building on the existing partnership between the two announced earlier this year.

Chelsea will use IFS technology across their finance operations and automate manual processes, alongside a guided, end-to-end procurement process covering supplier onboarding, contract management, and spend visibility.

Additionally, the two parties will work towards expanding the use of industrial AI capabilities to asset management and facility operations.

Adriel Lares, Chief Financial Officer at Chelsea Football Club, commented:

Advanced technology is transforming the way businesses operate and we are excited to be moving into the next phase of our partnership with IFS to realise the opportunities AI software presents.

Mark Moffat, Chief Executive Officer at IFS, added:

Chelsea FC operates in a world where performance, precision and pressure are non-negotiable. That’s exactly the kind of environment where IFS Industrial AI thrives and delivers. This partnership will demonstrate to the world what’s possible when elite ambition meets industrial-grade AI.
