A conversation with esports athlete Mayank Prajapati

In our latest podcast episode, we spoke with Indian professional esports athlete Mayank Prajapati and discussed his journey so far, the ups and downs and what the mood is ahead of the Asian Games.

Mayank speaks about his journey, how he stumbled upon a small gaming community in Delhi years ago and how that helped him fall into the Street Fighter world. We discuss the importance of family support for a professional esports athlete, especially in India and how that helped Mayank. The Street Fighter V athlete also talks about some of his career’s biggest hurdles and what are some of the changes he would like to see in the esports industry in India.

Being days away from the inaugural esports event at the Asian Games, Mayank also shares his goals and the struggles of managing an esports career and a young family.
