São Paulo-based Brazilian professional football club Corinthians have signed a historic partnership agreement with betting operator Vai de Bet in a deal reported to be the largest in Brazilian football history.
The deal is reportedly worth R$370 million (Brazilian reals, approximately US$75.85 million at the time of writing) over three years.
As per the deal, Vai de Bet will gain branding presence on the Corinthians goalkeepers’ gloves as well as the front of the club’s men’s and women’s teams’ shirts. It will also gain visibility on the Corinthians futsal and basketball teams’ assets.
Speaking about the record deal, Augusto Melo, President, Corinthians, said:
“We always insist that Corinthians has the largest brand in South American football and one of the largest in the world. That’s why I insist: no one can think of a small in this club. Little by little we will regain credibility, prominence and return Corinthians to Corinthians. We started 2024 with big announcements and Vai de Bet will undoubtedly be one of our leading partners with the greatest achievements.“
Andre Murilo, CFO, Vai de Bet, added:
“Sponsoring Corinthians is sponsoring not only one of the main institutions in Brazil, but also a club with a very beautiful history and a fans admittedly passionate, engaged and unique. It is a historic milestone for VaideBet, which we have planned for months and have been able to deliver now. Being with Corinthians and Fiel is all we would like for VaideBet’s strategy for the coming years and we are very happy to have established this relationship. We know that the values are significant and we hope that together we can help Corinthians to go even further.“
