Toyota to continue on as a partner for a further four years.
Cricket Australia (CA) has extended its partnership with Toyota Australia in a four-year deal. The partnership will see Toyota continue to partner the game all across Australia.
The extended deal will see Toyota continue on as a partner of not only the Australian men’s national team but also the KFC Big Bash League, the Australian women’s national team and Webber Women’s Big Bash League as well as CA’s inclusion and diversity programmes. Toyota will also support local and regional cricket through its Toyota Good for Cricket Program and the Toyota Australian Country Cricket Championships.
Speaking about the extension, Nick Hockley, Cricket Australia Chief Executive Officer, commented:
“We are delighted to be continuing our long-running partnership with Toyota Australia and are particularly grateful for the fundraising support they have provided local clubs and volunteers over many years through the Good for Cricket raffle.
“Toyota Australia’s commitment to be a part of the journey of all cricketers, from the community level through to elite teams and competitions, aligns perfectly with our commitment of ensuring cricket is a sport for all.”
Vin Naidoo, Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer, added:
“Toyota has been a long-standing supporter of grassroots cricket across Australia, and we’re delighted to extend our partnership to all divisions of cricket for the 2022-23 season and beyond.
“Since 2012, Toyota has supported community cricket with the Good for Cricket program, helping hundreds of clubs across Australia raise over AU$5 million that they can put towards new kits, cricket ground upgrades or buying new gear.”
“This season, the Toyota Good for Cricket Raffle has enabled grassroots clubs to raise AU$849,970 by selling over 169,000 tickets, helping them make cricket more accessible for all. Toyota is extremely proud to extend this partnership and support players, volunteers, and fans across the entire cricket community.”
