Aditya ChaudhuriSports entertainment platform DAZN has acquired the exclusive broadcasting rights to air the Formula One World Championship in Portugal for the next three seasons.
The deal, set to cover F1 seasons 2025 to 2027, will see DAZN replace Sport TV, whose current deal expires at the end of 2024.
DAZN recently acquired Eleven Sports, which held the F1 broadcast rights between 2019 and 2021 before they were picked up by Sport TV.
DAZN will provide live-streaming for all Practice, Qualifying, Sprint Qualifying, Sprints, and Race sessions with Portuguese commentary. It has also acquired the rights for Formula 2, Formula 3, F1 Academy, and the Porsche SuperCup.
