The 2022 edition of the Asia Cup, which will be the 15th edition of the tournament, has been renamed as the DP World Asia Cup following a partnership between the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) and DP World.
The partnership sees the end-to-end logistics solutions company become the Title Sponsor of the tournament.
Speaking about the partnership, Sultan Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Group Chairman and CEO of DP World, commented:
“We are delighted to announce our title sponsorship of the 2022 Asia Cup. The partnership offers a unique opportunity to be a part of one of the most prestigious cricket tournaments in the world, right here in Dubai, the new sports capital of the region.

Jay Shah, President of the Asian Cricket Council (ACC), added:

The 2022 edition of the Asia Cup will be held in the United Arab Emirates and will get underway from August 27, 2022. The final will be held on September 11, 2022 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
