On 16th September, Kenyan long-distance runner Eliud Kipchoge was set to break the fastest marathoner record. A day before, Nike launched a terrific ad film featuring in support of the famous athlete. Titled ‘Fastest Ever,’ it was done by Wieden + Kennedy Portland advertising agency. It was shot by Biscuit Filmworks.
Eliud ended up breaking the world record. He ran a full marathon in 2:01:39. In all the celebration after that, this piece of advertising got lost somewhere. It has only got merely 100 thousand views in ten days. But how could we let such an interesting, simple and powerful advertisement go unnoticed?
