A solid start in the first ODI has ensured Indian Women lead the ICC Women’s Championship with 8 points. The Canterbury challenge

An excellent bowling performance followed by an extraordinary batting display helped the Women in Blue register their first win against England Women since July 2021. Despite of losing the first game, England will back themselves to win the series. Sophia Dunkley has been in a great touch and showed her class during the 29-run knock she played in the first match. In five matches against India, she has scored 147 runs at an Average of 49. Her performance with the bat has helped her step up in the batting order as well.

England have started the ICC Women’s Championship with a loss but have the ability to change the course of the table in no time.
