EPL January Transfer Window: Which Player Should Each top European Cub Sign?

The January transfer window is on, and football fans globally are excited to see if their clubs will bring in an exciting player to boost their squad. However, this winter transfer has had some fascinating headlines, such as Kylian Mbappe joining Newcastle United. Sports betting fans have been surprised by some results where “big” teams have succumbed to the perceived “small” teams. If you are a soccer betting fan in India, bettingbonuscodes.in is an excellent resource for top betting codes in the country. So, which one signing would improve the top European teams? Let’s dig in!

Manchester City

Player: Erling Haaland

Pep Guardiola’s men are enjoying the form of their life currently. In fact, many football pundits believe the 2021/2022 EPL title is more of a procession rather than a competition. However, the Spanish tactician will be focusing more on winning the UEFA Champions League, which has been elusive during his time at City.

In this sense, they need a striker who can take them over the line. If they can price Haaland away from Dortmund, their odds of lifting the Champions League would increase significantly. However, it is easier said than done!

Manchester United

Player: Amadou Haidara

Currently, Manchester United seems to have bigger problems that a single player cannot fix. However, their recent performances have shown that their midfield department is lacking. Fred and Mctomminay have not been able to control the midfield against even the weakest opponents.

As a result, Amadou Haidara is a great young player that would bring the much-needed dynamism to that midfield. If united can pull this transfer, it will boost their chances of finishing in the top four.

Juventus

Player: Dusan Vlahovic

At the moment, Vlahovic has been linked with literally all the top clubs in Europe. At only 21, he scored 33 goals in 2021, playing for an average Serie A team. Juventus could use a proven goalscorer to push for the Serie A title and better performance in the Champions League. However, it seems Vlahovic fancies a move to the EPL, but Juventus is a top contender also.

Atletico Madrid

Player: Pau Torres

Atletico Madrid’s defensive line has been porous from last season. For example, last season Diego Simeone’s men conceded 25 goals. This season, they have already conceded 22 goals in 18 matches. This shows that they need defensive reinforcements.

The answer to their problems could be Pau Torres. The Spanish defender has established himself as a top defender in Europe, that he has attracted the attention of other big European clubs such as Manchester United. If Atleti can pull this transfer this January, it would be a massive coup.

Borussia Dortmund

Player: Denis Zakaria

Axel Witsel has not reached the form he was in before he suffered a knee injury. Dortmund needs to think about replacing him with a midfielder that can get the job done. Zakaria has already made it clear that he will be leaving Monchengladbach. Therefore, the German club can sign a pre-contract deal with him to avoid competition when he becomes a free agent in the summer.
